Their Size
Great Danes are considered to be XL or XXL in size, a giant breed. An average female can weigh between 110 to 140 lbs. An average male, between 140 to 175 lbs.
Their height can be intimidating. Males average approximately 30-32 inches to the withers, and females 28-30 inches. Remember, this is an average. There are Great Danes larger than this, and smaller than this at full grown.
